i. Cleanout and remove any and all debris
ii. Paint floors, staircase and walls

i. Paint walls and gaps between stairs
ii. Install railings
e. Smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors installed on each floor and bedrooms
f. Appliance – purchase of stove & fridge
4. Inspections/Certifications & Tenanting
a. Prepare and verify that entire house is ready and complies with section 8
requirements
b. Prepare and verify that entire house is ready and complies with city’s safety
requirements
c. Prepare and verify that entire house is ready and complies with city’s lead based
paint requirements
d. On day of inspections meet inspectors at the house
e. Register property with city, once inspections passes to receive Certificate of
Compliance
f. Locate qualifying Section 8 family
